Lucia was recommended to us by a friend as most of her clients seem to be.  We felt comfortable passing her our house keys and going off on a 3 week holiday during which the 'dirty' construction work to our ground floor was carried out.  We returned, jet-lagged, pleasantly surprised as Lucia had ensured the builders had cleaned the dust away and sealed off our living quarters upstairs.  She had even thoughtfully supplied a portable cooker for our temporary kitchen! The work transformed our dark, dingy, and very ordinary downstairs into a fabulous, practical light-filled space that we love to spend time in.  Crucially, her expertise enabled us to save over £2k in structural building costs.  The trade discounts & introductions to suppliers/products - such as our wooden floor and unique £250 bespoke pendant light which she designed (that looks far more expensive) - meant we actually saved money compared to other quotes obtained even taking into account her fee.  Plus we had the peace of mind knowing Lucia was there to keep an eye on the tradesmen, the bottom line, and our overall vision.
